Crawling is the discovery process—search engine bots finding your pages. Indexing is the storage process—adding those discovered pages to Google’s database (the index) so they can be shown in search results.
25. I use WordPress. Do I still need to worry about technical SEO?
Yes. While WordPress provides a great foundation, you are still responsible for choosing a fast theme, optimizing images, using a good caching plugin, managing redirects, fixing broken links, and ensuring your security. Your SEO plugin helps, but it’s not a complete substitute for good site management.
